Rapper T.I and his wife Tameka ‘Tiny’ Harris could soon be facing criminal charges as they've both been accused of drugging, kidnapping and assaulting eleven women.
Attorney Tyrone A. Blackburn reached out to law enforcement of behalf of the eleven victims and is seeking to have the couple charged with "sexual abuse, forced ingestion of illegal narcotics, kidnapping, terroristic threats and false imprisonment.”
Blackburn says the alleged instances of abuse occurred between the years 2005 and 2017 or 2018.
He says the women will remain anonymous to the public as they are fearing for their "lives and safety" due to T.I's history of convicted federal weapons charges.
However, they are "prepared to speak with investigators and prosecutors."
“They all have various reasons why they took so long to come out,” Blackburn says, "one of the reasons is that they did not think anyone would believe them.”
T.I. and Tiny have denied the allegations and are surprisingly still active on social media.
Their lawyer, Steve Sadow, says these are "baseless allegations" used to "manipulate the press and misuse the justice system."
"We are confident that if these claims are thoroughly and fairly investigated, no charges will be forthcoming,” he says, "these allegations are nothing more than the continuation of a sordid shakedown campaign that began on social media."
