"Feminism" is not a dirty word. It's almost become as forbidden as saying "you-know-who" in the Wizarding World.
Many don’t like to label themselves as a ‘feminist’ because the term has been skewed to mean ‘man-hating.’
But here is something to learn .... If you man-hate you are not a feminist. Feminism is not about hating but simply about equality.
As Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie famously put it in Beyonce's 2013 hit Flawless - "Feminist: a person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes."
A feminist does not discriminate someone based on their gender, or their race, religion, colour, abilities or sexuality.
And to hate men and see all men as the enemy that is discrimination.
Instead of making it an “us v.s them” mentality we need to include men in the conversation if we truly want social, political and economic equality.
